LETS TALK BEER

CRACK A TIN FOR QUEENY

It is Her Majesty the Queens Platinum Jubilee this weekend and to celebrate, we thought we would share some cracking beers from each of the British Countries - England, Scotland, and Wales. There are so many excellent breweries to choose from, but we have selected three that we love the most here at GBB.

From England, we have Missing Link Brewing’s Capuchin, a 6.8% NEIPA with Azacca, Citra, Simcoe & Mosaic hops. This delightful New England IPA has a beautifully soft and juicy mouth feel with a deep yellow hue. Tropical aromas of mango, apricot and papaya burst out from the glass on each swig leaving you wanting more.

Scotland have given us some stunners, but we have chosen Overtone Brew Co’s Azacca Reboot to represent them. Using Eureka, Citra, Simcoe & Azacca (obvs) hops they have created a thick and creamy 8.0% Double IPA with fresh tropical and citrus flavours hitting throughout with a bonnie hoppy bitterness.

Lastly, and by no means least we have Wales. A standout for us is Polly’s Brew Co and we have undoubtedly chosen Pieces of Glow as our favourite, a beautiful 7.3% IPA with Grape. PBC have done wonders with the freshest Nelson Sauvin hops they could get their hands on and loaded it up with 50kg of white grapes to finish it off. It looks, smells, tastes and feels so good with a juicy bouquet of crushed gooseberry, grapefruit and grape sweetness. We absolutely love it here at GBB and we think you will too!

They are all available in our shop alongside other beauts from the respective breweries, so make sure to check them out.
